Highlights to consider

Northern Lights

Arctic Circle

The great lake

We are in the birthplace of the Northern Lights. The vast open lake provides unobstructed views in every direction, offering a rare opportunity to witness the aurora across the full horizon — something increasingly uncommon in the northern wilderness. Through thoughtful lighting design, carefully placed functions, and seamless digital solutions, we have crafted the destination into a true dream resort for experiencing the Northern Lights.

Nowhere is the Arctic Circle more tangible than here. It stretches before you across the open lake, and you can choose from several ways to cross it. One of the most popular experiences is crossing by rowing in summer and by husky sled in winter. In winter, you can also take an ice dip exactly at the Arctic Circle. Santa Claus, too, resides year-round in a cabin right beside the Arctic Circle.

The lake is mystical. It is the source of our nourishment and a keeper of ancient wisdom. If it can be compared to anything, it is perhaps Lake Garda — yet here we are deep in the wilderness, where the purity of the water has made it a treasured place for generations of locals. There are no vineyards surrounding us; instead, the land is used for reindeer grazing and the gathering of wild, pristine berries. In its quiet magic, the lake offers a sense of stillness and spacious emptiness that is increasingly rare to find elsewhere in Lapland.

14 cabins and 2 beautiful suites

Nothing like this accommodation has yet been created in the North. It is the culmination of Scandinavian design and a source of deep wellbeing. This is not a cabin, but a moment in the heart of nature. We promise you will be present in a way unlike anywhere else.

Each of our suites features a private sauna with direct outdoor access. A dedicated dressing room / study offers space for calm, unhurried living — an invitation to slow down and focus on what matters most.

Nordic sauna spa

The sauna is the very essence of Finnishness and the nature of Lapland. It is where we slow down, restore balance, and quietly mend the world. After time spent outdoors, we return to gaze upon nature and embrace the warmth of the steam. Here, the sauna is built at the edge of the lake, and its architecture elevates the experience into something truly unique.

The Northern Kitchen

We have created a restaurant that feels like a breath of summer in the midst of frozen wilderness. It carries the scent of pine and radiates a warm, inviting glow. The food comes from nearby, and the experience itself is worth traveling for, even from afar.

Awakened by Nature

We have set out to create activities that are profoundly unique, rich in experience, and deeply human. We stand before a natural haven where only our imagination sets the limits. How does an ice swim at the Arctic Circle sound, or skating beneath the Northern Lights, or traveling alongside reindeer in Santa Claus’s footsteps? In summer, we can fish in one of Europe’s most spectacular salmon rivers.

Summer in the North

Summer is the season of the midnight sun, a phenomenon that astonishes every visitor. Historically, summer has been the most sought-after time of year in the region, precisely because of the endless daylight. People have traveled from across Europe to partake in summer celebrations. At times, summer could even be wild, as the ceaseless light stirred people into activity. With the arrival of winter, summer has often been somewhat forgotten—but we are here to showcase the magic that, after decades, now rises to new brilliance.
